Stunning Diamond Hair Accessories!

What can spoil a peaceful walk at the beach on a warm, breezy, wonderful Sunday? Yes, you guessed it right! Your unmanageable hair flying all over your face! Phew! Hair does get a bit annoying when the wind is breezy. But you don’t like tying your hair because you think it will make you look less stylish!

So how about neatly clipping your hair using classy diamond hair accessories? This way your hair will not only remain at one place but also you won’t have to compromise on your looks even an inch!

Hair accessories come in various types, shapes and sizes. Hair pins, hair combs, clips, tiara and hair band are all styles of hair accessories. They also come with fake flowers and feathers that add a very dramatic effect to this very subtle and simple piece of jewellery. If you are comfortable with the idea of wearing a diamond band or clip on a regular basis then flaunt them on special occasions like weddings or a theme party.

If you are soon going to get married then grab a gorgeous diamond hair band or a tiara to look picture perfect on your wedding day! Choose the accessories keeping in mind your dress, hairstyle and other accessories. You don’t want to get overboard with matching each and everything. But you also won’t like a disoriented look on your special day. So pick something that may not be ‘matching- matching’ as such but is in sync with your overall look.

For instance if your hair style is going to be a simple tied bun then you can wear chunky hair diamond accessories with a flower or a feather! And if huge curls are going to be your hair style then just a diamond clip on either side of the hair with a veil flying below will make you look smashing!

A simple diamond hair accessory smartly placed on your crown has the ability to dramatically transform your complete look!

Beyond The Beauty of Jewellery!

Jewellery is not just a piece of accessory used to look good. It has and still enjoys great cultural significance in various parts of the world!

Like ancient Egyptian believed in placing several pieces of jewellery on the deceased’s body. Pieces of jewellery such as wreaths, crowns, head bands, and various belts embedded with several beads were found by historians during excavation. Earrings, anklets, bracelets, rings, and necklaces were some of the other types of jewellery found on the tomb.

Other interesting jewellery from Egypt that has no traces in other cultures is a vest worn around chest. This chest was either made of gold or painted yellow to appear as gold. Even today, there exist tribes in Egypt, where girls long to own a golden vest.

In many Asian countries from ages, pearls are swallowed whole or in a powder form as a medicine to cure illnesses. In some Asian countries like India, jewellery is gifted to women at the time of their marriage and it is regarded as the symbol of wealth, power and femininity.

In the western culture, ring, a beautiful piece of jewellery has been used since ages a symbol to mark special occasions like engagement and marriage.

The importance of jewellery in several cultures around the world proves that it means much more than just a piece of ornament!

Diamonds vs Pearls - Both Win!

There is still a lot of debate over which is better - diamond or pearls. The beautiful sparkling diamond and the elegant, serene pearl have their own share of admirers. The famous actress, Elizabeth Taylor once said, "You can't cry on a diamond's shoulder, and diamonds won't keep you warm at night, but they're sure fun when the sun shines" while expressing her love for diamonds. Whereas famous celebrities like Michelle Obama, Katherine Heigl, and Audrey Hepburn adore pearls.

Diamonds vs Pearls
Both are precious gems and are a gift of nature. Diamonds are found very deep in the earth’s surface in mines. And pearls are formed in an oyster which is a living animal.

Choosing one from diamonds and pearls is nothing less than a sin. Both these gems are very distinct from each other thus comparing them is utter foolishness. It depends on a woman’s individual style and preference. Someone who likes bling and sparkle will love diamond jewellery. And a woman who wants an air of refinement will like pearl jewellery.

And for those who would like to have a perfect balance of sparkle and sophistication, a piece of jewellery made from diamonds and pearls is the perfect choice. Diamonds, when paired with pearl, looks absolutely breathtaking. A simple white gold chain with a single pearl pendant surrounded by diamonds exudes elegance and style beautifully.

So let’s end the debate by combining these beautiful gems to form a beautiful piece of jewellery.
